Fish Reports

Week of August 10th, 2008:
Captain Mike Weigle and First Mate Andrew report improving Fluke Action with nice keepers coming over the rail, with a 5 1/4 lbs Fluke whick took the pool.

Seabass action improved this week with a better number of keeper sized seabass coming over the rail with a few porgys in the mix. We are also seeing a number of black fish (tog) up to 8 lbs. on some of the stops.

Also we saw the first weak fish of the season, although small but in good numbers with the water temperature rising it can only get better. Croakers will show any day now.
